The Challenge
The Chubb had a series of analytical applications already in circulation. The users of those applications encountered challenges when determining actionable decisions covering Revenue using that data in its current form.
The challenge was to create an experience that better visualised the data helping the users and SME’s within the organisation to create more proactive decisionmaking via an easier to use interface. The visualisation platform of choice by the client was Qliksense.
The Approach
Discovery
This involved reaching working with several representatives from different parts of the business within a workshop setting to obtain the requirements and constraints for the design project. The workshop lasted a full day.
Ideation
Time was spent understanding how the organisation worked, what their goals and frustrations were, how their frustrations from their perspective limited them versus their competitors, sourcing the latest corporate style guidelines. Time was also spent understanding current solutions.
Design
The design requirements included focusing on tablet only for the first release. Adobe XD was the ideal choice to create a prototype that simulated Design handover documentation was created for solution architects who would build the visualisations.
